Sawasdee (Hello in Thai). Surachart (Bon) is the owner and chef of Thai Origin. He has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years. In 1975 he graduated and completed his formal training at Culinary College in London, England. Over the years, he has gained a broad experience in cooking from working in multiple hotels, continental restaurants, Thai restaurants and organising various food events & festivals. In 1988, he migrated to Australia to join the team of very successful Thai restaurants.
Throughout the following years, he managed and owned different Thai restaurants including the well established popular Thai restaurant "Renu Thai". He has completed a food safety supervisor course at The Southbank Institute of Technology.
As of now, Bon would like to share his knowledge of cooking with people who are passionate about Thai food through his cooking classes.
